Where is my patient data stored?
In your clinic's own Google account. The patient register is a Google Sheet in your Google Drive, files such as X-rays sit in your Drive, and appointments go to your Google Calendar. PatientPad does not keep a central database of patient records.
Can I export my patient records?
Yes, any time. The register is already a Google Sheet you own, so you can open it, filter it, or download it as Excel or CSV directly from Google. There is no export request to make.
What happens to my data if I stop using PatientPad?
Nothing happens to it. Your complete patient history stays in your own Google Drive, readable in Google Sheets without PatientPad.
Does it work on a tablet or phone?
Yes. PatientPad runs in the browser on the front desk laptop, the dentist's tablet, or a phone. There is nothing to install.
Can I use my own clinic letterhead for prescriptions?
Yes. Prescriptions and payment receipts print on your clinic's own designed letterhead, as paper or PDF.
How long does setup take?
We set up your console with you: connect your Google account, create the patient register in your Drive, and add your letterhead. There is no per-seat training programme.
Does it work for a multi-dentist clinic?
